Simple Classroom Challenges – Introduction to Programming

Activity 1

Create a computer program to move the rolling platform (robot) Forward and Stop after a few seconds. Use the Display function to display your team members’ names (if applicable).

 

Activity 2

Create a computer program move the rolling platform (robot) Forward for a few seconds and turn around and return to the starting position. Use the Display function to display your team members’ names (if applicable).

 

Activity 3

Create a computer program move the rolling platform (robot) Forward for a few seconds and turn left or right and move for a few seconds and return to the starting position. Use the Display function to display your team members’ names (if applicable).

Alternatively, have the robot move from one side of the table to the other and back, while do a spin around when it gets to the middle of the table.  See the video example below.

Activity 4

Create a computer program move the rolling platform (robot) up the ramp and knock the balls off. Each ball knocked off counts as a point towards this challenge. Best score of 3 runs. Use the Display function to display your team members’ names (if applicable).
